Living St. Louis: Court of Honor

Located in downtown St. Louis, the Court of Honor pays tribute to the local residents who lost their lives in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Dedicated on Memorial Day 1948 and designed by Washington University Architecture Professor Eugene Mackey Jr., the Court of Honor serves as a memorial—by an elegant list of names on 16 granite tablets—to those who made the ultimate sacrifice during World War II.
