Ruth Ezell travels to Eckert’s Orchard in Belleville, Illinois, to learn about the important role that bees play in a successful growing season. Recently, there has been a sharp decline in the honey bee population which means a decrease in the pollination of plants. To help combat this global problem and increase the bee population, more people are training to become beekeepers.
