Pelicans

Jim Kirchherr travels to the Wildlife Preserve in Calhoon County, Illinois, where pelicans stop regularly during migration. People from all over the state come to see these pelicans as they migrate to the northern United States in the spring and to the Gulf Coast during the winter.

Having an interest in the White Pelicans is special to my wife and I. I really enjoyed the film about the flyway and was going to send the link to some friends of ours in South Fort Myers. Since my wife is from Calhoun County, Illinois, (notice the spelling), I thought I would wait until the spelling is corrected. Just Google the name both ways and you will see why…
