Living St. Louis producer Margaret Enright profiles seventeen-year-old Madelyn McGlynn of Belleville who’s made it her personal mission to eradicate malaria in Uganda. She is one of this year’s fifteen honorees chosen by Build-A-Bear Workshop as part of their Huggable Heroes program. The program, dedicated to honoring young people from all over the United States and Canada for their impressive charitable work, is in it’s ninth year. And for the first time ever, the Heroes journeyed to Memphis to do what they do best—helping others.
