The public relations intern must be a current college student who has taken course work in public relations, advertising or communications, and has excellent writing skills. Duties include analyzing press clippings; writing program descriptions, press releases, letters and other material; some proofreading, filing, assisting with mailings; and other duties as assigned.
Three interns are selected per year (one each in fall, winter and summer semesters). The intern must commit to working at least three days, 15 hours per week, preferably for college credit.
