The Communications Coordinator for the Nine Network of Public Media (KETC) works very closely with the Volunteer Coordinator. Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing volunteer/job descriptions as requested by staff of the Nine Network
  • Fostering relationships with local universities, colleges and other outlets to find volunteers
  • Continue to help grow our list of volunteers and interns
  • Tracking all volunteer hours and community service hours
  • Recruiting and scheduling volunteer groups for live nights during our pledge drives
  • Various research projects associated with volunteer work

Qualifications/Skills required:
Applicant should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be a self-starter and like working with people.  Hours are very flexible – 4 to 10 hours a week.
