In and Around Novus’ Corporate Art Collection

St. Louis, MO—July 10, 2013—The July 14 episode of Nine Network’s weekly series Sunday Arts features the Novus International Inc. annual Art Walk at the company’s headquarters in St. Charles. Sunday Arts airs Sundays at 1:00 p.m. on Nine PBS.

Novus’ annual Art Walk, held earlier this spring, welcomes the public to view the company’s collection of art inspired by Novus’ scientific endeavors. The event also hosts more than 30 artists who display and sell their artwork. All of the proceeds are donated to the Arts and Education Council of Greater St. Louis.

In other segments, this Sunday Arts episode also profiles renowned violinist Elmar Oliveira, the only American violinist to have won Moscow’s prestigious International Tchaikovsky Competition; visits an exhibit featuring the first authenticated pirate ship to be discovered in U.S. waters at the Milwaukee Public Museum; and shows two pieces from The Paul Taylor Dance Company performing in Paris.

Sunday Arts is a half-hour magazine series showcasing arts stories from PBS stations across the country. Every episode spotlights local arts organizations. Sunday Arts and all arts programming on the Nine Network are sponsored by PNC Bank.
