Health Insurance Marketplace: A Community Conversation Is an Hour-Long, Live Conversation About How to Benefit From the New Health Care Law

 

St. Louis, MO—November 5, 2013—In its continuing coverage of the Affordable Care Act’s Health Insurance Marketplace, the Nine Network of Public Media brings together consumers and experts for Health Insurance Marketplace: A Community Conversation, an hour-long, live special airing on Nine PBS Monday, November 11 at 7:00 p.m. The program will be rebroadcast November 16 at 3:00 p.m. and November 18 at 3:00 a.m.

 

Health Insurance Marketplace: A Community Conversation, moderated by Nine Network’s Jim Kirchherr, will gather consumers, Health Insurance Marketplace “navigators,” academics, service providers and health care experts to discuss issues, challenges and benefits of the Affordable Care Act and address questions surrounding the Health Insurance Marketplace. The program, taking place in front of a live audience in the Nine Network’s studio, is designed to increase awareness and knowledge of the Health Insurance Marketplace and to connect individuals to resources.

 

Health Insurance Marketplace: A Community Conversation is the last of three Nine Network productions in November bringing together community members and experts to discuss the Health Insurance Marketplace. All three programs are part of Nine Network’s ongoing Our Region’s Health initiative and are funded in part by the Missouri Foundation for Health.
