The Nine Network to Televise St. Louis Mayoral Democratic Candidate Forum

Hour-Long Event Takes Place February 11 at St. Louis Public Radio

 

St. Louis, MO—February 6, 2013—On February 11, the Nine Network of Public Media will televise a discussion among the Democratic candidates for mayor of St. Louis in the hour-long special The St. Louis Mayoral Forum. It airs in prime time at 8:00 p.m. on Nine World (channel 9.3), at 10:30 p.m. on the primary Nine Network channel Nine PBS (9.1), and again on Nine PBS on Sunday, February 17 at 11:00 a.m.

The candidates—incumbent Mayor Francis Slay, Aldermanic President Lewis Reed and former St. Louis Alderman Jimmie Matthews—will gather that morning at St. Louis Public Radio. The forum, broadcast live on radio at 11:00 a.m. before a studio audience, will be moderated by St. Louis on the Air host Don Marsh. The forum will include statements from the candidates and questions from the audience.

The St. Louis Mayoral Forum will be available for viewing online at ninenet.org. Audio only will be on stlpublicradio.org.
