Recent Results From the Opportunity Rover Mission to Mars - Dr. Edward Guinness
NASA's Opportunity Mars roving laboratory is still rolling through the deserts of Mars, ten years after its airbag landing. The rover has been exploring the rim of a 13.6 mile wide crater called Endeavour. Dr. Guinness will talk about recent results from Opportunity, and what they reveal about Mars today and why they hint at a warmer, perhaps wetter Mars in the past. Sponsored by St. Louis Astronomical Society and NASA Missouri Space Grant Consortium at Washington University.
