The Festival of Four in Performance
Returning to St. Louis for a fifth time, the Festival of Four is beloved around the world for their joyful playing of folk and traditional music of many countries, performed on a variety of flutes and fretted instruments from around the world.
Chilean-born flutist Viviana Guzman has studied with both James Galway and Jean-Pierre Rampal, and performed with Mikhail Baryshnikov's White OakDance Project. Guitarist Stevan Pasero is renowned for his arrangements and performances of popular guitar classics, performed on over 300 CDs,with sales of over 15 million copies.
Flamenco guitar virtuoso Guillermo Rios, a student of the legendary Sabicas, has spent seventeen years of performing and touring throughout the world with Spain's leading flamenco artists. And classical guitarist Richard Patterson has been a featured performer on more than twenty recordings that whose compositions and arrangements are heard in feature films and on television and radio in over 30 countries.
