The 2014 Shakespeare Festival St. Louis season kicks off on William Shakespeare's 450th birthday, April 23, with SHAKE38, the wildly successful citywide urban marathon reading of the Bard's 38-play canon. For five days, April 23-27, St. Louisans are invited to read, perform, dance, paint and sketch their way through the Bard's words. From rooftops to bars to coffee shops to street corners, the event is limited only by one's imagination. Shakespeare Festival St. Louis can assist in helping pair interested individuals and groups with venues if necessary.

Registration is now open and runs through Monday, March 3. Visit https://www.sfstl.com/shake-38-registration-form/ to register or call 314.531.9800, ext. 114, for additional information.
